The work Kastanjebladeren - Chestnut leafs by Herman Bieling was worth EUR 5,040.00 to a buyer in January 2006. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Herman Bieling; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Two Heads sold at auction in November 2003 with the realized price of EUR 8,962.50.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 um ein Vielfaches.
