Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Herbert Ferber was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2010. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,190.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Herbert Ferber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of D.H. Ii in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 74,783.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Herbert Ferber wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.190,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herbert Ferber auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of D.H. Ii im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 74.783,73).
