Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2002 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work A farmhand, horses, chickens and ducks in a farmyard by Henry Charles Woollett. The price achieved of GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,359.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Henry Charles Woollett have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2005 the work The Horsemarket at Ashby-de-la-Zouch was auctioned for USD 16,800.00 (€ 14,186.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit A farmhand, horses, chickens and ducks in a farmyard von Henry Charles Woollett zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.700,00 (€ 7.359,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Henry Charles Woollett konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2005 die Arbeit The Horsemarket at Ashby-de-la-Zouch für USD 16.800,00 (€ 14.186,79) versteigert.
