Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nu allonge contre un lit (Marinette) by Henri Lebasque was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 30,240.00 (€ 35,194.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Lebasque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le goûter sur la terrasse à Sainte-Maxime in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 1,022,500.00 (€ 711,254.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nu allonge contre un lit (Marinette) von Henri Lebasque kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 30.240,00 (€ 35.194,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Lebasque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le goûter sur la terrasse à Sainte-Maxime im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.022.500,00 (€ 711.254,87).
