Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jeune femme dans un intérieur fleuri by Henri Lebasque was auctioned at Christies in Sydney in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 81,900.00 (€ 75,082.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Henri Lebasque have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le goûter sur la terrasse à Sainte-Maxime in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 1,022,500.00 (€ 711,254.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jeune femme dans un intérieur fleuri von Henri Lebasque kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Sydney zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 75.082,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Lebasque auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le goûter sur la terrasse à Sainte-Maxime im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.022.500,00 (€ 711.254,87).
