It achieved a price of GBP 48,750.00 (€ 67,219.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Evenepoel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Charles Au Jersey Rayé in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 580,500.00 (€ 759,271.22).

Die Arbeit La Chambre De L'Artiste von Henri Evenepoel kam im Februar 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 48.750,00 (€ 67.219,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Evenepoel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Charles Au Jersey Rayé im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 580.500,00 (€ 759.271,22).
