Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Route du Lavandou vers Saint-Clair by Henri Edmond Cross was sold in the The Collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller: Fine Art, Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,172,500.00 (€ 1,861,610.97). Other works by Henri Edmond Cross have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 3,150,000.00 (€ 2,583,237.66) in May 2021 for the work Le Faux Poivrier (Provence).
