Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2016 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Piss Flowers by Helen Chadwick. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,012.90), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Helen Chadwick - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Piss Flowers, which sold at auction in September 2013 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,883.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Piss Flowers von Helen Chadwick zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.012,90) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Helen Chadwick mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Piss Flowers beobachtet, die im September 2013 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.883,64) versteigert wurde.
