Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Piss Flowers by Helen Chadwick was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2018. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,965.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Helen Chadwick - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Piss Flowers, which sold at auction in September 2013 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,883.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Piss Flowers von Helen Chadwick kam im April 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.965,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Helen Chadwick mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Piss Flowers beobachtet, die im September 2013 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.883,64) versteigert wurde.
