Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Christies held the auction A Graphic Dialogue: Prints from the Collection of Lois B. Torf, which included the work Adam Und Eva (Adam And Eve) by Heinrich Campendonk. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,478.36). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Heinrich Campendonk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kuh mit Kalb in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,688,000.00 (€ 2,482,669.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Christies die Auktion A Graphic Dialogue: Prints from the Collection of Lois B. Torf durch, in der auch die Arbeit Adam Und Eva (Adam And Eve) von Heinrich Campendonk zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.478,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Heinrich Campendonk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kuh mit Kalb im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.688.000,00 (€ 2.482.669,35).
