In the The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street auction, the work A Musician sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,394.43) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Harry Clarke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Mother of Sorrows, Memorial to Sister Superior Mary of Saint Wilfrid, Principal of Dowanhill Training College, Glasgow, 1926 in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 65,725.00 (€ 102,926.24).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harry Clarke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Mother of Sorrows, Memorial to Sister Superior Mary of Saint Wilfrid, Principal of Dowanhill Training College, Glasgow, 1926 im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 65.725,00 (€ 102.926,24).
