In May 2002 Christies in London held the auction The Irish Sale, which included the work The Mother of Sorrows, Memorial to Sister Superior Mary of Saint Wilfrid, Principal of Dowanhill Training College, Glasgow, 1926 by Harry Clarke. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 65,725.00 (€ 102,926.24).
