However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harry Clarke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Mother of Sorrows, Memorial to Sister Superior Mary of Saint Wilfrid, Principal of Dowanhill Training College, Glasgow, 1926, which sold at auction in May 2002 for GBP 65,725.00 (€ 102,926.24).
