This artwork by Harry Clarke achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2008. In the The Irish Sale auction, the work Aran Landscape sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,498.12) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Clarke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Mother of Sorrows, Memorial to Sister Superior Mary of Saint Wilfrid, Principal of Dowanhill Training College, Glasgow, 1926 in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 65,725.00 (€ 102,926.24).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Harry Clarke erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
