Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I'Ll Fly From This Place, With One Bound, To Hell, Or Anywhere, To Leave 'Em by Harry Clarke was sold in the British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,938.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Harry Clarke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Mother of Sorrows, Memorial to Sister Superior Mary of Saint Wilfrid, Principal of Dowanhill Training College, Glasgow, 1926 in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 65,725.00 (€ 102,926.24).

Die Arbeit I'Ll Fly From This Place, With One Bound, To Hell, Or Anywhere, To Leave 'Em von Harry Clarke wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.938,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00.
