Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sequestered Valley by Hanson Puthuff was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,816.58). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hanson Puthuff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Snowbound, which sold at auction in June 2002 for USD 38,240.00 (€ 38,798.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sequestered Valley von Hanson Puthuff wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.837,50 (€ 9.816,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Hanson Puthuff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Snowbound beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für USD 38.240,00 (€ 38.798,70) versteigert wurde.
