Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Green Verdugos by Hanson Puthuff was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. The price achieved of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,645.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hanson Puthuff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Snowbound in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 38,240.00 (€ 38,798.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Green Verdugos von Hanson Puthuff kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.645,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hanson Puthuff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Snowbound im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 38.240,00 (€ 38.798,70).
