The work Snowbound by Hanson Puthuff was sold in the CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Los Angeles in June 2002. The price achieved of USD 38,240.00 (€ 38,798.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Snowbound is the most expensive artwork by Hanson Puthuff that we have observed at auctions so far.
