Auction result well in line with expectations

In February 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Adam und Eva (Bartsch 6; Pauli 7) by Hans Sebald Beham. The price achieved of USD 2,400.00 (€ 2,012.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Sebald Beham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Recto: A Putto Standing Beside A Flaming Urn Verso: Four Studies Of Men'S Heads in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 71,291.08).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Februar 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Adam und Eva (Bartsch 6; Pauli 7) von Hans Sebald Beham zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.400,00 (€ 2.012,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Sebald Beham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Recto: A Putto Standing Beside A Flaming Urn Verso: Four Studies Of Men'S Heads im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 71.291,08).
