Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art, which included this untitled work by Hans Ittmann. The price achieved of EUR 1,195.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Ittmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 13,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hans Ittmann zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.195,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Ittmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.200,00.
