A top price for Hans Ittmann - as previously expected
This work without title by Hans Ittmann was sold in the Twentieth Century Commemorative Sale auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2006. The price achieved of EUR 13,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Hans Ittmann that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hans Ittmann wurde im Dezember 2006 in der Auktion Twentieth Century Commemorative Sale bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hans Ittmann, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
