This artwork by Hans Ittmann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2006. In the 20th Century Art auction, the work Voorouderfiguur sold for EUR 7,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hans Ittmann; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in December 2006 with the realized price of EUR 13,200.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Ittmann erzielte im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art wurde die Arbeit Voorouderfiguur für EUR 7.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hans Ittmann; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 13.200,00.
