Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Composition With Ladders by Hans Ittmann for EUR 960.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Ittmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 13,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composition With Ladders von Hans Ittmann für EUR 960,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Ittmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.200,00.
