Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Obstructed Flow by Hans Haacke for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,753.43). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Hans Haacke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Condensation Cube in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 54,418.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Obstructed Flow von Hans Haacke für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.753,43) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Haacke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Condensation Cube im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 46.850,00 (€ 54.418,93).
