Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art | New York, which included the work Mobil: On the Right Track by Hans Haacke. The price achieved of USD 15,120.00 (€ 13,359.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Haacke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Condensation Cube in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 54,418.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mobil: On the Right Track von Hans Haacke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 13.359,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Haacke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Condensation Cube im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 46.850,00 (€ 54.418,93).
