Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Small 'Sack Form' With Flaring Disc by Hans Coper. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,763.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Coper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cycladic arrow form in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 156,250.00 (€ 176,201.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Small 'Sack Form' With Flaring Disc von Hans Coper zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.763,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Coper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cycladic arrow form im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 156.250,00 (€ 176.201,80).
