The work Small Pot by Hans Coper was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,120.00 (€ 16,672.26), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Coper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cycladic arrow form in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 156,250.00 (€ 176,201.80).

Die Arbeit Small Pot von Hans Coper wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 16.672,26) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Coper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cycladic arrow form im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 156.250,00 (€ 176.201,80).
