This artwork by Hans Coper achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale auction, the work Composite pot on foot with central disc sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,213.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Coper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cycladic arrow form in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 156,250.00 (€ 176,201.80).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Coper erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Composite pot on foot with central disc für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.213,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Coper auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cycladic arrow form im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 156.250,00 (€ 176.201,80).
