Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in London held the auction Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints, which included the work View of a Town near a River, on the Right a Church (Holl. 32) by Hanns Lautensack. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,956.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Hanns Lautensack have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Landscape with a Castle on a Rock on the left top right, the Sun radiating in the Sky in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,855.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of a Town near a River, on the Right a Church (Holl. 32) von Hanns Lautensack zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.956,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hanns Lautensack auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Landscape with a Castle on a Rock on the left top right, the Sun radiating in the Sky im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.855,80).
