Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900, which included the work Landscape with a big Castle in the Middle by Hanns Lautensack. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 9,027.98) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hanns Lautensack - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Landscape with a Castle on a Rock on the left top right, the Sun radiating in the Sky, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,855.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape with a big Castle in the Middle von Hanns Lautensack zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 9.027,98) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hanns Lautensack mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Landscape with a Castle on a Rock on the left top right, the Sun radiating in the Sky beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.855,80) versteigert wurde.
