Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Halim Al-Karim could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Hidden Goddess 9 changed hands for GBP 563.00 (€ 627.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Halim Al-Karim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (From The Urban Witness Series) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 36,072.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Halim Al-Karim konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Hidden Goddess 9 für GBP 563,00 (€ 627,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Halim Al-Karim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (From The Urban Witness Series) im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 36.072,30).
