Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Prisoner Goddess by Halim Al-Karim for GBP 765.00 (€ 891.23). This price was achieved in the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Halim Al-Karim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (From The Urban Witness Series) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 36,072.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Prisoner Goddess von Halim Al-Karim für GBP 765,00 (€ 891,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Halim Al-Karim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (From The Urban Witness Series) im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 36.072,30).
