Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Goddess of Dubai by Halim Al-Karim was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2018. The auction ended at the price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,570.44), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Halim Al-Karim have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (From The Urban Witness Series) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 36,072.30).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Goddess of Dubai von Halim Al-Karim kam im Dezember 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.570,44) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Halim Al-Karim auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (From The Urban Witness Series) im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 36.072,30).
