Auction result well in line with expectations

Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustav Seitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Junges Mädchen. in May 2018 with an auction result of EUR 25,800.00.

Die Arbeit „Kopf II (R21)“. von Gustav Seitz kam im Juni 2017 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustav Seitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Junges Mädchen. im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.800,00.
