In April this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Slussen", 1952. by Gunnar Smoliansky. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,768.12), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gunnar Smoliansky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Södermannagatan, 1959', which sold at auction in October this year for SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,081.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Slussen", 1952. von Gunnar Smoliansky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.768,12) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gunnar Smoliansky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Södermannagatan, 1959' beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.081,38) versteigert wurde.
