Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gunnar Smoliansky could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Södermalm, 1970" changed hands for SEK 8,000.00 (€ 707.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gunnar Smoliansky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Södermannagatan, 1959' in October this year with an auction result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,081.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gunnar Smoliansky konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Södermalm, 1970" für SEK 8.000,00 (€ 707,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gunnar Smoliansky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Södermannagatan, 1959' im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.081,38).
