Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Sofiagatan", 1963 by Gunnar Smoliansky was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,185.65). Admittedly, works by Gunnar Smoliansky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Södermannagatan, 1959' in October this year with an auction result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,081.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Sofiagatan", 1963 von Gunnar Smoliansky im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.185,65) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gunnar Smoliansky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Södermannagatan, 1959' im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.081,38).
