Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "5 februari 1978" by Gunnar Smoliansky was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 8,500.00 (€ 777.78). Admittedly, works by Gunnar Smoliansky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Södermannagatan, 1959' in October this year with an auction result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,081.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "5 februari 1978" von Gunnar Smoliansky im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 8.500,00 (€ 777,78) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gunnar Smoliansky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Södermannagatan, 1959' im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.081,38).
