Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work 'Summer Rain' by Gladys Nilsson for SEK 120,000.00 (€ 10,162.76). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 150,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gladys Nilsson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work By a Waterfall ....., 1973 in September last year with an auction result of USD 113,775.00 (€ 116,298.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Summer Rain' von Gladys Nilsson für SEK 120.000,00 (€ 10.162,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gladys Nilsson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit By a Waterfall ....., 1973 im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 113.775,00 (€ 116.298,68).
