In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made In California auction, the work Going off the Edge, 1982 sold for USD 21,675.00 (€ 22,155.78) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gladys Nilsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work By a Waterfall ....., 1973 in September last year with an auction result of USD 113,775.00 (€ 116,298.68).
