Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work Roman Capriccio With The Temple Of Concord by Giovanni Paolo Panini. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,004.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Paolo Panini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rome, The Pantheon, A View Of The Interior Towards The Piazza Della Rotonda in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 5,317,000.00 (€ 4,709,477.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roman Capriccio With The Temple Of Concord von Giovanni Paolo Panini zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.004,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Paolo Panini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rome, The Pantheon, A View Of The Interior Towards The Piazza Della Rotonda im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.317.000,00 (€ 4.709.477,41).
