Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Particolare by Giovanni Anselmo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 46,074.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Anselmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torsione in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 6,437,000.00 (€ 5,855,011.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Particolare von Giovanni Anselmo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 46.074,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Anselmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torsione im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.437.000,00 (€ 5.855.011,82).
