Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2017 Christies in London held the auction Thinking Italian, which included the work Senza titolo (Untitled) by Giovanni Anselmo. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 212,500.00 (€ 242,291.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Anselmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torsione in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 6,437,000.00 (€ 5,855,011.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Thinking Italian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo (Untitled) von Giovanni Anselmo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 212.500,00 (€ 242.291,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Anselmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torsione im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.437.000,00 (€ 5.855.011,82).
