Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Direzione by Giovanni Anselmo was auctioned at Phillips in London in March last year. It achieved a price of GBP 138,600.00 (€ 164,325.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Anselmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torsione in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 6,437,000.00 (€ 5,855,011.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Direzione von Giovanni Anselmo kam im März letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 138.600,00 (€ 164.325,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Anselmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torsione im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.437.000,00 (€ 5.855.011,82).
