Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Giorgio Cavallon was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2010. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,571.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giorgio Cavallon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunday Morning in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 118,310.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Giorgio Cavallon kam im September 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.571,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giorgio Cavallon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunday Morning im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 118.310,10).
