Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gifford Beal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fish Houses, Winter Day, which sold at auction in April 2015 for USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,788.39).
