It changed hands for a price of USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,788.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Fish Houses, Winter Day is the most expensive artwork by Gifford Beal that we have observed at auctions so far.
