A top price for Gifford Beal - as previously expected
The work Fish Houses, Winter Day by Gifford Beal was sold in the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,788.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Fish Houses, Winter Day is the most expensive artwork by Gifford Beal that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Fish Houses, Winter Day von Gifford Beal wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
