Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Elizabeth's Group Four Works i. White Planes with Red Contours ii. Black Roses with Children iii. Red Kisses on White Flowers iv. Children, Flowers and Hands by Ghada Amer was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 18,900.00 (€ 16,094.69). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ghada Amer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (The Big Blue Expression Painting BBEP) in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 120,000.00 (€ 179,290.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Elizabeth's Group Four Works i. White Planes with Red Contours ii. Black Roses with Children iii. Red Kisses on White Flowers iv. Children, Flowers and Hands von Ghada Amer kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 18.900,00 (€ 16.094,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ghada Amer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (The Big Blue Expression Painting BBEP) im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 120.000,00 (€ 179.290,69).
