The »bidding war« ended at HKD 889,000.00 (€ 104,092.81), 27% above the upper estimate. Other works by George Rouy have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 162,540.00 (€ 184,920.65) in March this year for the work Looking At Me Through Gaps Of Her Toes.
