The work Posing in Our Image by George Rouy was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 889,000.00 (€ 104,092.81), 27% above the upper estimate. Other works by George Rouy have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 162,540.00 (€ 184,920.65) in March this year for the work Looking At Me Through Gaps Of Her Toes.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 889.000,00 (€ 104.092,81) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von George Rouy haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 162.540,00 (€ 184.920,65) im März diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Looking At Me Through Gaps Of Her Toes beobachtet.
