A top price for Gaston La Touche - as previously expected
In May 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work L’Entracte by Gaston La Touche. The price achieved of USD 175,000.00 (€ 149,957.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, L’Entracte is the most expensive artwork by Gaston La Touche that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit L’Entracte von Gaston La Touche zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 149.957,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist L’Entracte das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gaston La Touche, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
